How do you ensure your business success in the digital sphere? Sure, maybe you’ve found the best web hosting service to run your site — but what about all the data? 🤔

Storage is a big factor whether you have a personal blog or company.

And for most people, it’s simply impractical to buy and keep loads of hard drives and servers.

This is where cloud storage comes in. ☁ No, there aren’t any floating data centres in the sky — at least we haven’t found any. 👀

With it, you’ll never have to worry about your files and digital media. Everything from:

  • bad selfies 🤳
  • to HTML ⌨
  • and 4K videos 📽

…is safely stored online.

What’s more, cloud storage providers do more than keep your data for you. They also help organize files and improve collaboration among team members.

But we know why you’re here. You’re feeling overwhelmed with all the choices available. Deep down, you just know some aren’t worth a penny.

Best Unlimited Cloud Storage (UK 🇬🇧) in 2020

With that in mind, let’s head straight to the cream of the crop. ✨ We’ve got seven picks below. So read on to see which among the best unlimited cloud storage solutions is perfect for you.

1. Dropbox Business - Best Overall

Feature-Filled and Absolutely Secure ⭐

Key Specifications:
  • 256-bit AES and SSL/TLS encryption
  • Automatic data syncing
  • Supports Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA)
  • Live chat, phone, and email support
  • 180-day file and file version recovery
PROS
  • Set passwords and time limits to links and folders
  • Remotely remove all data from stolen devices
  • Seamless integration with Slack, Zoom, etc.
CONS
  • 24/7 call support available only for Enterprise users
  • Duplicates appear when multiple users edit files
  • A 100GB transfer limit (Enterprise & Business)

The Price is Right 💸

If there’s one cloud storage provider that could compete against Google Drive in popularity, it’s Dropbox. But is its Business offering any good? It is — it really is. 🕶

Dropbox Business has three plans: Standard (12 GBP/mo), Advanced ($19), and Enterprise (you have to contact them for this customizable plan).

Only Standard has limited storage (5 TB) — the other two are unlimited.

Its features more than justify the price. Plus, you save more money if you choose yearly billing: Standard and Advanced go down in price.

Like Messenger, But for Work 📱

If your company is already invested in Slack for communication, that’s fine. Dropbox integrates with Slack. This way, everyone can share files and leave comments in one place.

What about Zoom for your weekly online meetings? You can connect it to Dropbox Business as well.

Like Messenger and Slack, you can create groups for your respective teams and departments. Organizing employees helps you share specific folders to only those who need to see it.

Committed to Data Security 💼

Its security measures don’t just apply to the storage part. When you upload a file to the cloud, Dropbox Business already safeguards it.

And the same thing goes for when you transfer it.

It complies with the rigorous standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

As of writing, the Dropbox has four ISO certifications:

  • ISO 27001 (Information Security Management)
  • ISO 27017 (Cloud Security)
  • ISO 27018 (Cloud Privacy and Data Protection)
  • ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management).

And that’s not all. Third-party auditor Ernst & Young LLP has checked Dropbox Business and given three Service Organization Controls (SOC) reports on its security, integrity, and privacy measures, among others.

You and Your Team Have Control ⚙️

If someone steals your password, they still can’t access confidential files if you enable two-step verification. Once they log in your password, they must also provide a six-digit code or security key. 🔐

But what if you lose your laptop while still logged in? No worries. You can remotely delete all the files and media data (including all extra copies) in the device.

⭐ Pro Tip: Try It Out For Free

You don’t have to pay for the first use. Dropbox Business has a free 30-day trial — no credit card details needed. 🤑

2. Box - Best for Multiple Users

Designed for Collaborations 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Key Specifications:
  • Box Notes for collaborative online note-taking
  • Box Shield for data classification and security
  • Integrates with more than 1,400 apps
  • AES 256-bit encryption
  • File encryption using Box KeySafe
  • Two-factor authentication for all Business plans
PROS
  • Works well on desktop and mobile devices
  • Active forum with over 4k article and 47k posts
  • Box doesn’t have access to your encryption keys
CONS
  • 5GB single-file upload limit on all plans
  • Only 5% savings when you switch to yearly billing
  • Lacks Linux support

Plans for Individuals and Corporations 🤼

Box has four pricing categories based on user numbers: Individual, Business, Enterprise, and Platform.

Only the Individual Plan under Individual is free. But even the paid Personal Pro Plan doesn’t have the unlimited storage you’re looking for. 😞 Likewise, Enterprise Suits and Platform Plans are suitable for companies.

But they’re more of a complete business package than just a cloud storage solution — it may be overkill for most. And they don’t have an exact price — you’ll have to call for an estimate. 🤷‍♂️

Everything in One Place 🏝️

Box’s Cloud Content Management helps declutter your digital world. With a Box plan, you can save, edit, share and manage all your files on one page. No more alt-tabbing each second. 😤

Just like Dropbox Business, Box allows users to integrate valuable work apps such as:

  • Slack
  • Office 365
  • Salesforce
  • and DocuSign. 📃

Your employees don’t have to argue about document changes. If they want to go back, all previous file versions are available. Box Drive keeps them when you Save the file.

Box also has its own drive like Google and Microsoft called, well, Box Drive. 😎 All your files are saved in the cloud, but you can search for these files using Windows Explorer or Mac Finder on your computer.

If you’ve used Google Drive before and utilized its offline feature, you’ll be glad to know Box Drive has the same thing. You can edit documents even without Internet access. When you’re online, Box saves all offline changes.

⭐ Pro Tip: All Business Plans are Unlimited

  • Starter ⛔
  • Business
  • Business Plus
  • and Enterprise

…All plans except for Starter have unlimited storage and no user limits.

3. OpenDrive - Best for Reliable Uptime

Hassle-Free Maintenance and Linux Support 🤖

Key Specifications:
  • 128 bit SSL encryption and 256 bit AES encryption
  • SAS 70 Type II-certified and HIPAA-compliant
  • Detailed user activity logs
  • Centralized console for management
  • Unlimited notes and tasks for Business plans
  • OpenDrive Notes for quick comments and lists
PROS
  • Great savings with annual billing
  • Maintenance often doesn’t mean downtime for users
  • High upload/download speed thanks to CDN
CONS
  • Local backups unavailable for when you’re offline
  • Not as beginner-friendly as other services
  • Lacklustre community activity and support section

Pay Yearly, Save on Two Months 💳

Three plans to choose from: Personal, Business, and Enterprise.

But here’s what sets OpenDrive apart from Box and Dropbox Business: The Personal Unlimited Plan provides unlimited online storage — making it one of the best cheap unlimited cloud storage plans out there for individuals.

Up to four users can set up accounts on this plan, but you’ll have to pay more for at least two extra users. Maybe just stick to one to two users? 🤭

Under Business Plans, both the Business Unlimited and Reseller Unlimited Plans cost at least as much as Personal Unlimited (with three extra users).

…But you get unlimited tasks and Account User Management. 🏢

No matter which paid plan you choose, you’ll save on two months if you pay annually rather than monthly. And unlike Box, OpenDrive has Linux support. 🆒

Do Almost Everything on OpenDrive Drive 😎

Yes, it’s called OpenDrive Drive. This is a platform where you and other users can collaborate and use all sorts of files. Documents? ✅ Music? ✅ Video? ✅ Watch a movie while your employees work on a last-minute report.

OpenDrive Drive is unique in many ways. It encrypts data like other services, but it can also remove duplicate copies with ease. It offers automated backup, scheduled syncs, and the ability to delete redundant backups.

No Matter the Device ⚙️

Most high-quality cloud storage providers have desktop apps and mobile apps — and the same goes for OpenDrive. In particular, you can divide desktop app modules. This way, you can have it just sync or store files on the cloud and not anything else.

For mobile users on Android and iOS, they can store everything from photos to business contacts. You can even add your company logo and change the app colours to look more professional.

⭐ Pro Tip: OpenDrive is Compatible with Every WordPress Theme

If you have dedicated Wordpress web hosting or own a Wordpress account, there’s the OpenDrive Plugin. It works no matter the theme you have for your site.

With it, you can set up a cloud storage site on your own server. Yes, your very own cloud storage site that others can pay you to:

  • file host
  • share
  • voice/video message
  • and much more

4. BackBlaze B2 - Best in Speed

Combining Physical and Digital Storage 🧩

Key Specifications:
  • Third-party integrations including Cloudflare
  • Cloud backup of NAS devices
  • Virtual Machine (VM) cloud backup via StarWind
  • First 10GB free and free 1GB data download daily
  • B2 Fireball device for large-data migration
PROS
  • Simple and practical pricing plan that’s great for those on a budget
  • Personal passphrase stops even BackBlaze from decrypting your data
  • Easy to use and navigate
CONS
  • You have to wait up to one business day for an email response if you have the free support plan
  • The free GIGA support plan doesn’t include computer backup and 24/7 hotline
  • No Android or iOS mobile backup feature

Throwing Shade with Competitive Pricing 😏

Usually, companies only talk about how their plans are affordable relative to their features — but Backblaze is different. This cloud storage provider isn’t afraid to list its competitors. With how cheap it is, it’s advantageous to mention them.

Somehow, Backblaze manages to offer far cheaper storage and download rates. And the other three are backed by uber-rich tech giants — companies who own other companies and provide everything from office apps to web hosting and search results for cheap reseller hosting.

To be fair, Backblaze doesn’t have an actual unlimited plan, unlike our other entries. But you can have as much storage space as possible if you want. 😲

And depending on how much you actually need, you could save more with Backblaze than if you were to pay for those unlimited-storage business plans. 👍

What Backblaze offers is cheap — really cheap. But that didn’t stop it from offering more: Users get their first 10GB of storage for free. Plus, you get a free GB of data download every day. 😍

The Legendary Fireball 🔥

Do you know what Backblaze has that others don’t? A blazing ball of fire. To be fair, it’s just what it calls its large-data import service. Its appearance is a huge, black storage device.

So how does it work? If you want to send all company data to the cloud as fast as possible, you ask for a Backblaze Fireball. The cloud storage provider then delivers the device to your office.

To be fair, the Fireball doesn’t work for everything. If you want to store your virtual private server hosting (VPS) or virtual machine (VM) on the cloud, you should go for the StarWind integration instead.

⭐Pro Tip: Handle Big Data Fast for Cheap with the B2 Fireball 💨

The B2 Fireball can store 70TB and has 1Gbps connectivity. Copy all the data their, then send it back. Backblaze then receives the Fireball and uploads the data to one of their data centres.

It’s an effective solution if your company has tons of data and the internet speed is less desirable.

And, once again, it is far cheaper than what its biggest competitors have.

5. Rackspace Cloud Files - Best Bang for Your Buck

Utility Pricing for All 🌍

Key Specifications:
  • Third-party integration with object storage apps
  • More than 200 edge locations globally
  • File management thru Cloud Files API
  • Online control panel
  • Desktop app for both Mac and Windows
  • Non-dynamic web hosting suitable for blogs/eCom
PROS
  • Per-GB pricing makes it a great option for everyone
  • Possible to store HTML and JavaScript on cloud
  • Option to have all media files get web-ready URLs
CONS
  • Very Slow search function
  • Occasional issues with billing system
  • Support can take weeks to help

Pay Less for More 💰

Many people will appreciate the flexible and simple per-GB pricing of Backblaze. Now, Rackspace Cloud Files does the same thing — but with an extra benefit. 😉

For the first TB of storage data, each GB costs a minute amount extra. But the more TB you use, the cheaper each succeeding GB becomes.

Users are billed monthly and you may be asked to pay a monthly minimum storage fee. But just like Backblaze’s offering, this ensures you only pay for what you use. 👍

Utility pricing helps everyone save money — and small businesses need all the money they can keep. Then again, Rackspace already offers dedicated web hosting, which is perfect for them.

Your Files are Extra Safe 😃

Rackspace Cloud Files knows that its high-grade data centres may suffer significant downtime — even if the odds are really low.

Due to this, Rackspace applies data redundancy to the files you save in the cloud.

Three complete copies of your data are saved on distinct storage nodes. Thus, you still have access to your files even if some data centres don’t work or are in emergency maintenance.

Likewise, there are multiple Internet providers, power supplies, and generators to keep your data available online no matter what.

No Key, No Access 🚫

Sending your file to the Rackspace cloud is safe — very safe.

During the transit, your file goes through an encrypted channel. Even if you’re using public wifi, no unauthorized entity can just snoop on your file and login details.

You can’t even access your own data with your username and password alone. Rackspace Cloud Files require an API Access Key to authenticate your login.

You can only view or produce a key from the app control panel. Once the app validates your API Access Key, you’ll receive a session authentication token — this is only valid for 24 hours.

⭐ Pro Tip: Protect Especially Sensitive Data

Use Rackspace to handle particularly sensitive bits of data. See above.

6. SpiderOak - Best for Big Companies

Big Promises for Big Businesses 🏛️

Key Specifications:
  • One Backup and Enterprise Backup
  • End-to-end data encryption
  • Point-in-Time restoration in case of malware
  • Supports Mac, Linux, Windows, Android, and iOS
  • Self-destructing links to backup files
  • “No Knowledge” mission ensures SpiderOak has no info on your password and stored data
PROS
  • Clutter-free and user-friendly apps
  • Enterprise Backup is perfect for big companies
  • All plans allow the use of unlimited devices
CONS
  • Scalable Enterprise Backup requires 500 users
  • Unlimited storage only for Enterprise plan
  • Expensive One Backup plans for very limited storage

The Price Mostly Isn’t Right 🤲

SpiderOak is a peculiar cloud storage service. Instead of the usual pricing groups (individual, business, enterprise), it removes the middle — and that’s bad for small businesses.

So what do we still have? We have One Backup, which consists of four personal storage plans. However, there’s something awry about these plans. None have unlimited storage. Sure, you get to use One Backup on unlimited devices — but so what?

For a meagre storage allocation of just 5TB, SpiderOak charges a high monthly fee. At their price, our other top picks already give unlimited cloud storage.

But here’s what we learned: A few years ago, SpiderOak did have unlimited storage offerings to individuals.

…The company has since discontinued them and implemented bandwidth limitations to those who did get unlimited storage accounts. 👎

Worse, the company did have an affordable plan for groups and small businesses.

But like with the unlimited storage accounts, new applications were rejected. It was called Spideroak Groups, which had no size limitations and unlimited storage. 😭

Enterprise to the Rescue 💨

So why is SpiderOak still on our list?

The Enterprise plan does have unlimited storage, but there’s a catch — you must have at least 500 users to avail one.

Moreover, like any other enterprise suite, this one has no exact price. You have to call for a quotation.

The old page promoting the Spideroak Groups also included Enterprise. It said that each user will cost you almost a fiver. Thus, you’ll be shelling out at least 2000 GBP/mo.

The more recent page for the Enterprise Backup Plan doesn’t mention any per-user rate. Despite this, the features are terrific. For one, you can adjust the settings so that end users are unable to permanently remove backup data.

The cloud storage solution also has full support for Linux, Mac, and Windows computers. If you want to view your data on the go, there are Android and iOS apps.

⭐ Pro Tip: Recover Old Versions of Documents

SpiderOak has the Point-in-Time feature, which is similar to how similar services can recover older versions of data. This is crucial when malware affects your data.

7. LiveDrive - Best for Individuals

Super Affordable But Also Limited ⏳

Key Specifications:
  • TLS encryption for secure data transfer
  • Data obfuscation to protect user privacy
  • 24/7 network monitoring
  • Data centres have ISO 27001 certification
  • A free 14-day trial available
  • Supports Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, and even Windows Mobile
PROS
  • Personal unlimited cloud storage for cheap
  • Desktop app interface is neat
  • File recovery available within 30 days
CONS
  • No plans have unlimited storage from the get-go
  • Support only available from 9 AM 6 PM UK time
  • Backup unavailable for Windows phones/tablets

Unlimited Storage — for Individuals Only? 🤔

Similar to SpiderOak, LiveDrive is an oddity. Like it, there are only two pricing categories: Personal and Business.

The allowed number of devices is limited. But paying £5.00 /mo for unlimited storage for your PC or Mac? That’s a steal — it’s one of the cheapest unlimited cloud storage options ever. 💯

You can choose the Pro Suite option and pay triple the amount than Backup, but only if you need more user accounts. Their Briefcase storage option may sound appealing, but it’s like paying for Google Drive, which is already free. Head over to their Business category, you’ll find that there’s no “unlimited storage” feature.

...But if you look closely, there’s also a part with an asterisk — this is where the Enterprise Plan exists.

Pay between £30.00 and £100 a month—not those in th that are also in the early process of finding quality domain registrars. Business Standard doesn’t have unlimited cloud storage, but it is scalable. If you have a 500-strong workforce, you can pay for the extra 490 users.

Similarly, the sky's the limit in cloud storage if you have the money.

Sharing Your Files 📜

Gone are the days of suspicious email attachments. If you want to share a file stored on the cloud, you can choose between Public Sharing and Private Sharing.

The former gives a link that you can share through email or social media. For Private Sharing, LiveDrive will send your recipients their unique login details.

⭐ Pro Tip: Check Whether You Need to Backup These File Types

LiveDrive does not back up the following data types: browser cookies, .exe, .iso, and .log. ❌ Typical file types like documents, database archives, and websites are allowed. ✔

Unlimited Cloud Storage Buying Guide 📚

Unlimited cloud storage has become a crucial tool in today's hyper-connected world.

However, unlike the old days, when vendors used to regularly roll out new features and routinely bumped up storage limits, the cloud market has matured in its offerings.

The amount of electronic information:

  • Emails
  • Documents
  • Images & Videos

..that businesses produce is staggering.

(Today, you probably don’t think twice about exchanging work professionally using Google Docs.)

Storing all your important digital media/data in a data center can be quite expensive.

Therefore, cost-effective cloud storage has become increasingly popular. But, before migrating, it’s important to specify your needs.

…without further ado, let’s jump right into what you should consider!

#1 Pricing/Budget Look for ROI 💵

man uploading to cloud storageYou don’t necessarily have to find the cheapest unlimited cloud storage solution.

As long as it’s the right fit and enhances your team productivity, you should consider tracking the ROI.

Factor in the:

  • new storage volume cost
  • maintenance cost
  • ROI of a time-saving, collaborative file-sharing approach

When it comes to cloud storage pricing, there are two models in play:

  • by user
  • by usage

So, when priced monthly per user, each user can access certain volumes of storage available.

A few questions to ask:

Backup Limits?

While some backup solutions don’t have any data limits, others do. Most unlimited cloud storage solutions have plans with no data limits. However, there are always exceptions.

Volume Price?

The best unlimited cloud storage UK service providers usually price via volume, set by different storage classes like “hot” or “cold” storage, download requests, etc.

Migration Requirements?

Consider the costs of data migration to your cloud provider.

Processes?

Lastly, migrating your data while adjusting to the new process could take a minute and require investment.

Factor in, ahead of time:

  • Its current place within your ongoing processes
  • What data might live there
  • And how users would interact with it.

Just think of cloud storage as buying a hosting and domain for your business website. It’s a fairly easy process but demands a lot of considerations.

#2 Cloud Sync - Take Time to Absorb Your Features🌩️

Desktop Versions?

Cloud storage services like OneDrive and Dropbox have desktop applications, makes cloud sync a breeze.

This unique application keeps files in several different locations up-to-date via the cloud.

Automatic Syncing!

As the name implies, it automatically loads files in your cloud storage solution online. This “obvious” feature has a number of benefits.

For starters, it lets you collaborate with your team seamlessly.

Backups?

With this, your team members get instant access to the most updated versions of the backup files.

For most cloud solutions, this is an automatic feature.

#3 Cloud File Sharing - Protect Your Data 📤

macbook cloud storageWith a cloud file sharing service, you can upload your data to a central repository.

Allow other users, or just yourself, to download the files on their devices—all data is hosted by a third-party provider.

But users can choose what permission levels to set on the stored files.

  • Great for:
    • Quick file sharing
    • creating backups
  • Example programs:
    • OneDrive
    • Dropbox
    • iCloud

Looking for the best cheap unlimited cloud storage and file sharing solution…? Consider the following tips:

End-to-End Encryption

Opt for a service that provides end-to-end encryption, similar to what the best VPNs have. It will protect you from hackers and prevent the VPS host itself from viewing your files.

Main Permissions

Don’t forget to double-check the main permission settings. Anyone with the link can access your files.

Audits

Regularly run audits on your data to see who’s accessing them. If you no longer need a certain file, remove it from the cloud storage entirely.

#4 Cloud File Backup - Get Rid of Your HDD?📚

cloud_backupThis is quite different from synchronized cloud storage.

Cloud backups act like your computer’s traditional backup to the local hard disk drive (HDD).

…except it stores your data online.

However, the capacity could be limited compared to an HDD. It wouldn’t seem practical backing up several terabytes of data in the cloud.

That said, cloud backups makes protecting files easier than HDD’s—just:

  • choose the best service 🗸
  • install their official app on your device 🗸
  • choose whatever you wish to backup 🗸

..and voila!

Unfortunately, cloud backups are not a replacement for local hard drives; you still need that, at least for now.

Off-Site Backups

The cloud provides an easy way to perform off-site backups. It's like having insurance for your crucial data—your files are secure from:

  • malicious threats ✋
  • theft ✋
  • and/or natural disasters ✋
Multiple Backups

We recommend having multiple backups of your most important data to protect against total loss.

To ensure a solid backup regime:

  • have one or two backups kept off-site
  • this usually doesn’t require cycling backups

— this is where cloud file backup shines.

Cloud backup doesn’t only copy files on your PC but also supports other devices, like portable hard disks and network attached storage (NAS).

Seeding Larger Volumes

Depending on the amount of data, you could expect days or even weeks for your files to reach the cloud.

If you’re planning on storing a lot of data in the cloud, consider “seeding” the files.

Seeding is basically where a service allows you to initially send in your hard drive containing the files so you don’t have to upload them across the internet.

…After that, you just upload data that are either new or modified.

#5 Uptime - Server Stability ⛰️

man performing cloud backupAs you know, if your website hosting isn’t robust, it could crash anytime.

Similarly, cloud servers aren’t infallible. They could fail just like your own server. However, some service providers have networks that fail significantly more, as opposed to others.

This can raise a serious issue for your daily operations, especially when your files are inaccessible in urgent times.

Therefore, you must opt for the best unlimited cloud storage UK service that demonstrates its contingency plans regarding server failures.

And, most importantly, stats showing the stability reliability of the servers concerning uptime.

#6 Security - Choose a Known Name 🕶️

We’ve targeted the most established providers, on our list for this reason. Your files could go compromised, in which case cloud storage offers an excellent backup. That being said, there isn’t any guarantee that the cloud storage service you’re using is safe, especially from security threats.

If the service is compromised, its backup safety net could also be removed, putting you in a position where your sensitive data are no longer secure.

This is why you need to understand your provider’s security precautions better.

Even Amazon Cloud Drive, the cheapest unlimited cloud storage, offers topnotch security.

Make sure to:

  • Identify the physical security of your preferred cloud storage provider’s servers
  • As well as what encryption they employ to the stored information.

#7 Speed - Also Known as Loading Time 💨

Yes, download speeds are a crucial element of your cloud storage considerations.

The level of speed you have for downloading data has great impact on how your business is being conducted.

Say, for instance, you’ve recently faced a massive data disaster, so you need those files restored quickly.

Now, there’s a good chance that your cloud storage service provider has a limit set on your download speed.

…in which case it could take hours for you to get things back up and running. Thus, you must determine what download speeds are available from the provider’s end.

#8 Management Tools Policy and Procedure Metrics 📆

cloud-storageSelf-service management is a bit tricky. Different customers have different needs. And DIY management is not necessarily the cheapest option, but could just be suitable for compliance and/or corporate governance requirements.

The majority of providers have management software or support popular third-party software.

You need to learn your available management tool, as well as technical support, options. Just think about how much effort, training, and extra support you’d need to use a self-management tool efficiently.

#9. Multi-Tenancy - A Single Home for Bigger Clients 🗼

Most cloud storage solutions provide multi-tenancy where a single instance of software helps multiple customers.

These users can make a few changes in certain parts of the application like the UI color—though, they can’t customize/change the codes.

Generally, multi-tenancy applies to all three layers of the cloud:

  • Platform as a Service (PaaS)
  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

Software as a Service (SaaS)

#10. Tech Support - Who You Gonna Call?👨‍💼

There’s no such thing as “perfect technology.” Problems will continue to arise every now and then.

When something unexpected happens, it’s always better to know that you can contact your provider any time you want for quick assistance.

Before picking a vendor, make sure you know how they manage tech support.

Consider asking them when they will be available and how best to connect with them. You need to figure out how fast they respond to a problem or concern, too.

Remember, having your cloud storage offline for several days could mean missed opportunities for your business.

…So, if a vendor doesn’t meet all these needs, it will be in your best interest to look elsewhere.

Unlimited Cloud Storage: FAQ

What Is the Largest Cloud Storage?

Currently, more than one billion people use Google Drive, making it the largest and most powerful. If we're talking value for (no) money, there are some free cloud hosting options that provide up to 50GB (e.g., Media Fire, Mega).

How Safe Is the Cloud?

Data centers on our list meticulously manage their servers to keep your information safe and secure. So, in short, it depends on which service provider you choose to use.

Who Owns the Cloud?

According to the Stored Communications Act (SCA) and the Patriot Act (PA), data owned in the cloud, especially public clouds, is typically owned by the cloud providers.

Where Is Cloud Data Stored?

On at least one data server that you connect to via the internet, which then forwards the data to several different servers (sometimes in multiple locations).

Can Cloud Be Hacked?

As cybercriminals illustrated through the 2014 celebrity iCloud breach, poor password protection leads to this. However, the biggest concern isn't hacked, but rather, lost data.

Wrapping Up

Dealing with a plethora of files every day but are slowly running out of valuable storage space?

Opting for the best unlimited cloud storage UK provider could make the difference between:

  • lost data
  • and peace of mind

Even with the cheapest unlimited cloud storage, store your important files and folders and access them easily—whenever you want.

On top of that, using a cloud storage solution is the preferred way to keep a backup of data too precious for you to lose.

Just make sure to take the aforementioned guideline into consideration and you’ll be good to go.
